Jim Knox is the Regional Managing Practice Leader of Aon’s Technology and Communications Industry.  Jim also leads Aon’s Digital Asset team.  Jim is responsible for the growth and development of Aon’s regional Technology and Digital Asset industries. Jim numbers many of the world’s leading Technology and Digital Asset companies as his personal clients. Jim has also assisted over 100 companies with the insurances for their IPO’s on US and international exchanges.

 

Trained as an attorney, Jim has previously worked at a large NYC based insurance defense law firm.  Jim was previously CEO of Nasdaq’s International Insurance division (Carpenter Moore PLC).  Prior to that James served as an Assistant District Attorney in New York City.

 

James has spoken on and moderated numerous panels regarding the Digital Asset space.  Additionally, James has met with regulators in several jurisdictions including the United States, Cayman Islands, Bermuda etc to discuss various issues and trends within the Digital Asset industry.

 

James and his wife Bernadette reside in New York with their 5 children. Jim also operates a small gentleman’s farm in upstate New York.
